Dunedin Community Christmas Dinner

Each year, on Christmas Day, the annual Dunedin Community Christmas Dinner is held in the Dunedin Town Hall.

It is especially intended to help those who have no one else to be with on Christmas Day, or who perhaps don’t know anyone, or perhaps cannot readily afford Christmas treat food. Families are welcome.

The dinner is prepared by volunteers, without whose help it could not happen. These people give of their free time to bring cheer to others on this special day. It is also a time of getting to know others in the community, and have lots of fun while doing it!

To become a volunteer to help out at the 2018 dinner, please register here. If you would like to attend the dinner as a guest, click here to book a seat.

Here is last year’s poster! Watch out for this year’s one!

Provision for this event relies on the generosity of others, so we invite all those who are able to assist, either by volunteering, or donating finance. We would like to express our gratitude to the people, groups and companies who have donated time, finance and other resources to make this wonderful event happen. You can find a list of some of these on Our Sponsors page.
